Office productivityIn this fast paced world where technology has become the backbone of almost every industry, specialized skills that come from Microsoft Office training have become staple knowledge. Learning how these tools/applications help participants’ maximize their office performance should be a rewarding and fulfilling part of their overall career training experience. Learning all the tips, tricks and techniques of the Microsoft Office productivity suites for use in their everyday office/official tasks will increase their productivity and improve their efficiency. In this course/workshop SCILS has select professional subject matter expert to explain, demonstrate, and personally walk them through entry-level to expert learning concepts. They will enjoy learning how to accomplish tasks effectively in Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

At the end of the training participants will be able to:

  • Perform basic tasks by using a Word Processor (Microsoft Word 2013).
  • Edit and format text.
  • Work with tables and pictures.
  • Identify the different components of a Spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel 2013).
  • Enter data into a Spreadsheet.
  • Perform basic mathematical operations and functions in a spreadsheet.
  • Insert charts into a spreadsheet.
  • Identify the basic functionalities offered by presentation program (Microsoft PowerPoint 2013).
  • Design, Create, Preview and animate a new presentation.
  • Add graphics to a presentation.

Participants will be able to:

  1. Use the office productivity suites in their various offices/departments
  2. Design, create and present professional documents that meet international standards
  3. Assist key officers in various departments to create professional presentations
  4. Enhance the data creation, analysis and presentation skills of participants
  5. Enhance the report writing skills of participants
  6. Facilitate the decision-making process of the key officers in the various departments
  7. Apply all the skills acquired to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness
  8. Enhance their competence and improve on their productivity and performance
